The Mechanism
How HOPE Works
Four phases. Four actors. One permanent, transparent, blockchain-verified legacy infrastructure.
👤
Phase 1
Talent Registration & HOPE Fund Setup
- 1Talent completes identity verification (Aadhaar/Passport + PAN for India)
- 2Income sources are registered: BCCI salary, IPL contract, brand endorsements, streaming royalties
- 3Talent sets HOPE Fund allocation percentage per income source (typically 1–5%)
- 4Smart contract deploys a personal HOPE Fund wallet on Polygon blockchain
- 5Allocation Engine is configured with preferred impact categories or specific Impact Cards
🌱
Phase 2
NGO Verification & Impact Card Creation
- 1NGO submits registration documents, audit reports, and project proposals
- 2HOPE legal team verifies NGO legal status in applicable jurisdiction
- 3Big 4 audit partner reviews financial records and project feasibility
- 4Verified NGO creates structured Impact Cards with milestones and target amounts
- 5Impact Card is reviewed, blockchain-anchored, and published on the platform
💎
Phase 3
Brand Onboarding & Co-Sponsorship
- 1Brand CSR team registers and connects to HOPE via API or dashboard
- 2NGO-Brand matching algorithm surfaces aligned causes
- 3Brand selects co-sponsorship ratio (1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 match)
- 4Co-sponsorship agreement is digitally signed and anchored on blockchain
- 5Brand ESG contribution counter begins tracking in real-time
🌍
Phase 4
Fund Flow & Impact Verification
- 1Talent HOPE Fund transfers to Impact Card escrow upon milestone trigger
- 2Brand matches contribution at configured ratio simultaneously
- 3NGO executes project phase and uploads proof of execution (photos, reports, receipts)
- 4HOPE verification team audits proof and releases milestone funds from escrow
- 5Blockchain transaction is anchored; public verification dashboard updated
